Melted Crayon Flowers

Supplies:

  • Crayons
  • Wax Paper
  • Iron (or oven)
  • Kitchen Towel
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Buttons or beads

Directions:

  1. Peel paper off crayons and chop crayons into smaller pieces (about 10 crayons suggested)

  2. Lay down wax paper, and sprinkle the crayons onto the paper, and then add a layer of wax paper on top
  3. Melt crayons by either using an iron or placing them in the oven at 200 degrees for 2 minutes
  4. Cut wax paper into flower shapes after the wax hardens
  5. Push pipe cleaner through the flower to create a stem, and place a button on top of the pipe cleaner to hold
